The Eclectic Screening Room Group

The Eclectic Screening Room, Toronto's cult film publication, holds monthly screenings of interesting and unusual films not easily found elsewhere. People are also encouraged to hang out before and after the screening to chat with like-minded individuals who share a passion for non-mainstream, offbeat films. But in addition to our own screenings, we also will be posting events of similar kinds of films that are being held by others. As a member, you are encouraged to suggest other screening events outside of what ESR hosts monthly. Whether in print, on screen, or any other media, The Eclectic Screening Room (or ESR for short) wants to bring that essence of community back to film lovers in Toronto, without any element of bias or cliquism. With the movies we show, and the informal gatherings surrounding the screening, "The Eclectic Screening Room" is more than a semi-regular meeting place, it's a way of life.
